Logo (June 15, 2001-)
Visuals: On a black background, the camera slowly pans up through a glass lowercase "a" as it turns towards the right, revealing a fiery texture on the inside. The texture then changes to various white particles which all move around one another. The camera then stops at the top of the "a", as the texture inside it changes to a blue sky color with white clouds. The camera slowly zooms out of the "a" and slowly positions itself in its center as the particles from earlier return, but with other particles coming from the left, converging in the center then going away to the right. As they disappear, the background turns white with the "a" turning black. A red line then forms at the bottom of the screen as the text "AAMIR KHAN PRODUCTIONS" in black then fades in on top of and below the line respectively. The logo then stays for a few seconds before slowly fading to black.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Starting as an echoing deep drum thud, it then proceed to a one-note Tibet chanting, at that point where a calm synth comes playing a second later. It crossfades to a soothing piano pieces (which plays for the remainder of the logo time) and wind chimes. The wind chimes stay before being eaten by a warning rising synth before playing a nose flute-sounding instrument. After a one second pause, a violin string plays before breaking intro to a somber Indian string (sarangi). This plays until the same thud as the beginning plays; this trigger a one-man male choir that played for two seconds before ending. This was composed by A.R. Rahman, who did the music for Lagaan (the company's debut production).
Availability: The logo debuted on Lagaan, and later appears on Taare Zameen Par, Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, Dangal, and Secret Superstar, as well as on the theatrical print of Laal Singh Chaddha. It most recently appeared on Laapataa Ladies.
2nd Logo (August 13, 2010-)
Visuals: On a black background, there is the "a" from before already on the center of the screen, but without other texture, which slowly zooms out to its position. After a few seconds, a light comes from the top and the "a" shines as it zooms out, and finally, rests on the top along with its shadow appearing below. The text "AAMIR KHAN PRODUCTIONS PVT. LTD." in a two-row stacked format, fades in at the bottom with the red line drawing itself from its left.
Variants: A variant exists where "PVT. LTD." is omitted, and only "PRODUCTIONS" is shown at the bottom of the red line.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A shortened version of the previous fanfare composed by A. R. Rahman, which begins with the sarangi playing.
Availability: The logo debuted on Peepli [Live], and has since been found on other movies produced by the company, such as Delhi Belly and Talaash: The Answer Lies Within. The "PRODUCTIONS" variant appeared on the streaming prints of Laal Singh Chaddha. This logo also appears on the trailers for Dangal and Secret Superstar, but the first logo is used on the actual movies themselves. It is used concurrently with the previous logo.
