Visuals: A VHS screen turns on, displaying static and the "PLAY >" text on the top left with a blurred RGB effect. When the company's logo appear, consisting of "DOWNBEAT", with a segmented black line within its fill and "BEAT" shifted upwards to include "F I L M S" underneath it, the "PLAY >" text disappears. A slow horizontal wave effect from the VHS is applied on the logo before said effect, including the static, fade to black, leaving the flat version of the logo on the background set to said color.
Variant: On All Light Will End, the logo is within a bordered white box and slowly zooms out, stopping as the static disappears.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: After the sound of a VHS tape inserting into a player, an upbeat 80's-style synthpop fanfare reminiscent of workout videos is heard.
