1st Logo (November 1959?-April 1, 1998?)

Visuals: The name "Узбекфильм", made in national font, stands on a curved filmstrip.

Variants:

  • There is an early variant where the logo is slightly titled, curvier, and less bolded. The copyright year is also added underneath.
  • A Latin version exists. Plus, the filmstrip has coloring.
  • Sometimes, the logo is superimposed into the opening shot.

Technique: A still printed image.

Audio: None or the opening theme of the film.

Availability: Like other Soviet studios, it was used scarcely and has not known to appear on any movies since the late 1990's with the release of The Speaker. It is still saved on a few films from the 1960's such as Птичка-невеличка, Ты не сирота, and Звезда Улугбека.

Visuals: The text, now in a capitalized font, stands on top of a straight filmstrip with zig-zagged ends.
