Background

On August 31, 2015, BoulderLight Pictures and Making Film Productions Limited partnered up to produce three films together, all of which would be released in a new label, Making Horror, a brand that would focus on low-budget horror and thriller titles.

Logo (May 10-November 21, 2017)

Visuals: On a black background, a gray text reading "MAKING HORROR" is seen constantly glitching for most of the logo. Affected by a poor VHS quality, its distortion can be seen with several letters separated or conjoined, or in the wrong position. Later in this sequence, the first and last letters have their top and bottom halves respectively stretched. After this, "MH" appears with "H"'s top half of its right terminal with a long, sharp point. Backing out has the company's name underneath followed by "a MAKING FILM company". The "H" is also seen to have its sharp point emit small particles.

Technique: Very well crafted special effects.

Audio: Garbled and glitchy VHS static alongside water droplets. A reverse cymbal-like sound is heard when the logo stops glitching.

Availability: Only appeared on two movies: The Drowning and Dismissed.
