1st Logo (1995?-2002)

Visuals: A white outline of a rhombus is drawn by a light dot. The word "DᐱᐯIS" flies into the logo. "F I L M S" flashes in below. A blue whirlwind is seen behind the logo. The end result looks like this:

D/\\/IS
F I L M S

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None.

Availability: Most films produced by Davis at the time had no logo. It appears at the end of Sueurs, and possibly appeared on the original release of Crying Freeman, but newer DVDs remove it.

2nd Logo (March 12, 2002-)

Visuals: Against a brown-green-blue gradient sky, the same logo from before flies in, while "DᐱᐯIS" flies in, letter by letter. A red box with "F I L M S" in it fades in.

Variants:

  • There is a metallic version zooming in through a ton of clouds that snow.
  • There is a short version where some parts of the logo are cut.
  • A closing print version appears on Resident Evil films starting with Resident Evil: Extinction.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: The regular version is seen on Resident Evil (though American prints don't use it), Resident Evil: Extinction and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. The shortened version appeared on Domino. The metallic version has appeared on Silent Hill, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.
