From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Logo (1968-August 7, 1988)

Visuals: On a red background with white rippling lines, there is a TV tube with a stylized flower inside it, also containing both the Arabic and English texts for "TV.". The English text starts scrolling, revealing "FILMS for PROD. & DIST.", followed by the Arabic text changing to the Arabic translation of said text. Then the Arabic and English words for "Presents" scroll in. These then disappear, with only the tube and flower kept intact at the end.

Variant: Earlier films had the logo in B&W.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: A proud orchestral fanfare.

Availability:

  • It was mostly seen in TV airings of their productions such as الشاطئ المهجور, most of which had the logo cut off and abruptly proceeded to the film's title card.
  • The B&W variant was spotted on their first films such as الرقم المجهول (Unknown Number), أما مقلب (What A Prank'), and الأصابع الثلاثة (The Three Fingers).
  • The standard variant made its first appearance in الشاطئ المهجور and made its final appearance in البقية لا تأتي.
