Background

Projector Pictures is British television production company founded by Trevor Eve, Charles Haswell and Sharon Maughan.



1st Logo (December 26, 1998-January 1, 2000)

Visuals: "PROJECTOR" is placed behind a steel blue-tinted, oval-shaped light beam. "PRODUCTIONS" is below the aforementioned word whereas a co-producer's name and the copyright notice are all below the company name.

Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme or none.

Availability: It appears on Alice Through the Looking Glass and Cinderella.

2nd Logo (January 13, 2011-March 8, 2012)

Visuals: "PROJECTOR" in white is formed through a deblurring effect. Blurred pieces of the logo initially reach a wide angle before merging back into the logo.

Variants:

  • On The Body Farm, there is a teal blurry copy over the logo and is still. It also shares the screen with the 1997 BBC logo.
  • On the first series of Kidnap and Ransom, the logo is inside a black box and placed within the 2nd Talkback Thames logo.

Technique: Deblurring effects.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme or none.

Availability: It appears on Kidnap and Ransom and The Body Farm.

3rd Logo (January 25, 2023-)

Visuals: The logo from before is revealed through a blurry, shining projector from the left. The light wipes to the left behind the text, repeats, and shifts to the left each time it shines. The logo is also glowing and light dust can be seen floating around the logo.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme or none.

Availability: It debuted on The Catch.
