Background

ApolloMedia is a German production company that specializes in joint financing film and television productions, namely lower budget titles and international collaborations. The company was formed in 2001. It would rebrand to Apollo ProMedia some time in 2004.

1st Logo (November 2, 2001-2004)

Visuals: On a black background, we see various shimmering line appear and disappear, illumining the text "ApolloMedia". A lens flare appears below the text and fully reveals the text. "Apollo" is in white, with the two "l"s having blue segments on top of each, while both are different lengths. "Media" is in blue. Beneath it is a blue bar with the text "FILMPRODUKTION"

Technique: The lines and the flare.

Audio: A horn section, which gradually becomes triumphant and climaxes when the logo is fully formed.

Availability: Seen on most productions that were financed by ApolloMedia, such as Deathwatch, Kart Racer and George and the Dragon. Also seen on international prints of The Musketeer. But, not all films feature this logo.

Logo (September 12, 2004-May 2, 2008)

Visuals: Basically text reading "Produced By ApolloProMovie" with copyright information below.

Variants:

  • Other times, the company would be referred to by its full corporate name "ApolloProMovieGmbH & Co. Filmproduktion KG".
  • Zoey 101 featured additional information beneath the standard copyright blurb.

Technique: None.

Audio: None or a quote from Zoey 101.

Audio Variant: On Teennick airings of Zoey 101 with split-screen credits from 2010 until 2012, the tail-end of the preceding Schneider's Bakery's audio (the "ding" sound from the "DANWARP" variant) plays into this logo.

Availability: Seen on Zoey 101 and Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.


Apollo ProMedia Filmproduktion GmbH

Logo (2004?-)

Visuals: Same as the ApolloMedia logo, only this time the above text is replaced by "ApolloPr0Media", with the latter two words in blue while "Apollo" is in white, and the bottom text lacks the blue bar.

Technique: Same as the ApolloMedia logo.

Audio: The opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on co-productions with Motion Picture Corporation of America, namely Slipstream, Pavement and Dracula 3000.
