Background

Spooky Pictures is an American film production label and a division of Roy Lee's Vertigo Entertainment.

1st Logo (June 3, 2022)

Visuals: The screen slowly zooms past a patch of clouds with two moons against the night sky. As the clouds lessen, "SPOOKY PICTURES", in a stacked format, with the moons in place of the "O"'s, and in a grungy skull printed texture, in Impact, fade in. Until the second third of the sequence, the clouds continue to dissipate before settling on a dark patch of clouds that marginally float rightwards.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A shrill, horror-themed wind ambient note in the first half.

Availability: The logo is seen on Watcher.

2nd Logo (March 22, 2024)

Visuals: The screen rises above a field of grass to display the logo from before with a large glow and against a clear, nighttime sky. The logo sequence is in black and white.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A creepy and ominous nighttime windy, ambience track.

Availability: The logo is seen on Late Night with the Devil.

Logo (October 27, 2023)

Visuals: Against a dark-light horizontal gradient background, a human left hand slowly pushes against the fairly flexible surface. After briefly disappearing, the person's right hand, followed by the same hand from earlier and the individual's distraught expression, are pushed against the background. The person screams for help before leaving the background, to which "SPOOKY", in a thin tall font, followed by "PICTURES", at a small scale and alternate tall font, emerges from the background and fades in respectively.

Trivia: There are some striking similarities between this logo and this 1986 PIF from the British mental health hotline The Samaritans, which also features a figure screaming from beneath a white cloth and trying to escape, hands and face pressed against the surface.

Technique: CGI by Devastudios, who also designed Lee's Vertigo Entertainment.

Audio: An eerie and cold, windy ambient track plays in the background. Later on, a cinematic thud, a muffled scream, and a hissing sound are heard.

Availability: Can be seen on Devastudios' site.
