The Jackal Group (2018)The Jackal Group logo

Nicknames: "The Jackal Logo," "The Black Jackal," "Jackal in the Woods," "Din-Dih! Yeah!"

Logo: We begin in an animated black-and-white woodland scene, with black tree trunks on a grayish background. A pair of white pupil-less animated eyes appear on one of the trunks. The eyes belong to a black silhouetted jackal, which jumps out of the woods onto a wavy gray background and trots to the center of the screen, as the words "THE JACKAL GROUP" in small black lettering appear from underneath the jackal. The jackal freezes in position as the background continues animating.

Variants:

  • On Dig, the logo appears in a small box on the left of a black background, only animating the jackal on the gray background, with the Kesher International logo appearing next to it.
  • On Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life, The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again, Easiest Game Show Ever and Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, there is a short version where we just see the jackal walk into the center of the screen on a gray background and freeze in a different position with its left front paw raised
  • On animated shorts done by AOK (the current incarnation of Animation Domination High-Def), the logo is still on a white background.

FX/SFX: 2D animation against a CGI background.

Music/Sounds: On the standard shortened version (with the jackal raising its paw), we hear a 2-note guitar tune and a voice softly going "yeah!". On Easiest Game Show Ever, the jingle is slightly re-arranged, with three notes instead of two. The long version is silent.

Availability: It was seen on Dig on USA Network and Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life on FOX, both now cancelled. The short version also appears on Easiest Game Show Ever on Pop TV, Tidying Up with Marie Kondo on Netflix, and the TV movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again. The long version of the logo can be seen on the company's website, www.thejackalgroup.com.
