Multishow (Film Production Logos)

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

1st Logo (July 8, 2011)

Visuals: A set of turquoise sheets of transparent paper wrap a black background, revealing the 2008 Multishow logo on the top left, consisting of a large horizontal white oval border with the "h" "show" as the border's starting point and with "multi" above the "how" part of said word. Another set of sheet material, this time coloured pink, wraps the teal paper from top right to bottom left where a larger version of the Multishow logo is shown covering the top right portion of the screen. This pattern repeats, this time with a turquoise sheet with multiple copies of the logo tilted diagonally, followed by a larger version of the logo on a yellow sheet, and finally a purple sheet where the logo is on top of the hand written text "A VIDA SEM ROTEIRO".

Technique: Stop motion.

Audio: Paper tearing and mechanical clicking are heard throughout the logo until the end, when the tearing stops and the engine on the latter slowly puts that sound to a halt.

Availability: The logo only appeared on Trap.com.

2nd Logo (October 25, 2013)

Visuals: A purple iris in transition displays a white anthropomorphic, armless "M" wearing teal glasses, a gold nose, a mustache, and two buck teeth running towards the screen as it gazes at two other anthropomorphic letters running and flying across the screen. These letters include an "S" with red spiky hair, white headphones, and a white collar with sharp black spikes and a "M" with wide open eyes and teeth on its vertex. When the "S" bumps into the white "M" to the latter's surprise, its headwear launches off. The "M" flies down to meet with the two letters, clicking and bursting out a gold ring as all letters become white and they quickly spin into the 2012 Multishow logo, which zooms out after the formation.

Technique: Flash animation.

Audio: Several sound effects are heard in the logo, which includes running on metal for most of the sequence, whooshing, and a quiet slide whistle when the orange "M" flies at the beginning.

Availability: It was only seen on Meu Passado Me Condena O Filme.

3rd Logo (October 1, 2015)

Visuals: On a blank plum coloured room, there's a hand with a remote on the bottom left of the screen. A vintage TV set on a chair falls from the top centre and lands on the ground. After attempting to turn the TV on, which briefly morphs the TV into a distorted pink TV set with gold, green, and purple static, it quickly enlargens into the 2012 Multishow logo in hot pink. The logo is shown at a profile view as a man and a woman on a purple couch are watching it.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: There are clicking sound effects from the remote control and faint static from the TV. Suddenly, a three-note bombastic and proud orchestrated fanfare plays and a laugh track on the third note.

Availability: The logo was only seen on Vai que Cola - O Filme.
