Background

Taiho Company, Ltd. (大宝株式会社) was a Japanese film distribution company. It was spun off from the distribution department of Shintoho which declared bankruptcy on August 31, 1961. The company was established the day after on September 1, 1961. However, just four months later on January 10, 1962, the company suspended operations. Only a total of six films were distributed by this company.

Visuals: On a black background, the text "映画界の新らしい魅力" fades in. The text then slides up to make way for the letters "新生" which appears underneath. Between the two letters, an emblem, which consists of a circle with "大宝" inside reading top to bottom, zooms in. The black background fades into a textured gray background as all of the text fades out, leaving the emblem alone. The emblem slides up as "大宝株式会社" wipes in underneath from left to right. The emblem and text gain shadows which extend to the right.

Availability: Seen on their releases such as Kyounetsu no hate (狂熱の果て).
