1st (known) Logo (April 12, 2002-November 26, 2004)

Visuals: On a black background, two white lasers draw the Rai butterfly logo in white with a light blue tint. After it's done, the logo zooms out to make room for several letters that fly in, forming the words "Rai" and "Cinema" on the left and right side of the logo respectively. Then the logo shines.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on several Italian movies, such as Buongiorno, Notte and Il più bel giorno della mia vita. [Examples?]

2nd Logo (October 22, 2004-April 23, 2010)

Visuals: The Rai Cinema logo lies over a stylized blue starfield. The logo has a shadow that moves slightly.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None.

Availability: Used on movies produced by Rai Cinema such as Ovunque sei.

3rd Logo (May 17, 2010-)

Visuals: Over a blue background, several strips of light come together to form the new Rai Cinema logo (somewhat like the 2011 StudioCanal logo). After a while, the logo stops shining.

Variants:

  • Starting with more recent movies, the logo has been updated, but retains the same animation.
  • On Beckett, the logo is red on a black background.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Can be found on most Rai movies of the time. [Examples?]
