Background

Prokino Filmverleih GmbH is a German distributor of films, which may have founded throughout the 70's or 80's.

1st Logo (1980s)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a white silhouette of a grass field with a man with a film camera held to it, and what appears to be a rabbit below it. The text "prokino" is typed in a fast pace, next to the silhouette. Then the words "zeigt:" abruptly appear underneath it.

Technique: Analog 2D animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on various films distributed by the company. This was preserved on a Spanish VHS release of Tag der Idioten.

2nd Logo (2010?-)

Visuals: On a black background, a white circle with a black circle outline with the silhouette from before, now in black with the bottom part filled in black, with "PROKINO" below it, fade in. The radius of the circle shines.

Technique: Digital graphic with CGI for the shine.

Audio: None.
