Les Films Opale

Logo (March 12, 2021-)

Visuals: A close up of multiple dark silhouettes of sliding letters are shown with a bursting blue light background behind them. The screen is split in half by a diagonal line in the centre, showing two different shots of the sequence on both sides. The "mask" zooms out while a white light spark expands in the centre with the former revealed to be a blue vertical gem spinning out on a white-steel blue vertical gradient background. "Les Films", with the former word smaller and centre aligned to the latter, and "Pale" slide out of the gem from the left and right respectively as both objects continue to zoom out. After the zoom out finishes, the gem flattens, retaining its details while a dark blue curve draws around it from the left. The logo slowly zooms in and stops while the background gains a light shaded triangular shard filter.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Light shimmering is heard until the white light spark bursts. Playing alongside it is a tender high note, piano piece that gradually speeds up and later joined by a string chord in the middle of its performance. It slows down after the light burst and ends with two quick piano notes.

Availability: This logo is seen on The Guide to the Perfect Family, Viking, among others films they have distributed.
