1st Logo (March 9, 2012-January 26, 2024)

Audio variant

Extended variant

Visuals: On a tan background, the box from before with the head inside slides in from the left and briefly squishes before returning to normal. The head bounces horizontally inside the box before the two gears from before zoom out and stabilize and land on top of it. Simultaneously, uncolored, large and transparent copies of the gears fade in within the background. After the gears stabilize the head, the company name from before scroll in within the box from the left. Finally, the copyright symbol pops and stretches in before shrinking towards its position from the previous logo.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, the ending of the logo may be extended where the gears fall down and move the box along to the right, leaving the screen.
  • There is a widescreen, open matte version of the logo.
  • Earlier films containing the logo have the colour scheme darker.
  • On Last Looks, the background is black.
  • On Last Sentinel, the colour scheme is black and white.
  • On The Power, the colour scheme is similar to the above variant but with gray instead of white and the dots in the gears are red.
  • On Elevator Game, the logo is tinted red.
  • On Trishna, the logo is in a box.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A descending, synthesized frequency sound is heard until the gears make contact with the head, where two gear clinks are heard. A deep bounce sound plays as the box stretches and a cartoon pop sound effect for the emergence of the copyright symbol. The gears rotating are also heard with a mechanical click effect. After all the elements appear in the logo sequence, a single high note stinger is performed while the gears moving are continued to be heard. Otherwise, the logo is silent or the opening theme of the film plays over.

Availability: The logo debuted on Trishna and made its last appearance on American Star. The soundtrack version is heard on Audrey. The extended variant can be seen on Last Sentinel and Elevator Game.

2nd Logo (September 25, 2014-January 26, 2024)

Visuals: Within a gray vertical rounded rectangle, there is a stylized, rounded tan head with two gold gears for eyes facing the top right and a copyright symbol for a mouth. "head gear©" is placed below the head while inside the box.

Variant: Sometimes, the logo is fully in white.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The closing theme of the film.

Availability: The logo was mainly seen at the end of films, making its debut on The Little Death and final appearance on American Star.

3rd Logo (July 1, 2022)

Visuals: On a dimly lit metal surface, there is the logo from before in a scratched metal texture and without the rounded box. A barely visible, large shadow copy of the rotating gears are seen above the logo and background.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The opening theme of the film.

Availability: So far, the logo only appeared on The Forgiven.

4th Logo (February 27, 2024-)

Visuals: On a black background with a white film grain effect and gate weaving, the rounded head from before is shown with three versions of two roughly drawn, thin horizontal lines drawn across the object's contents . In addition to this, the head has a rough outline that is a mix of the scribble and dotted style. Within the head, the gears from before are shown in a brighter shade of gold, black outlines, and a small portion of their shadows in a dotted texture. After the gears rise away from the head, both objects slide to the left and a white horizontal box, also with a scribble and dotted style outline mixture, slide out of it to the right. "HEAD GEAR" in a stacked format and pen filled texture, slide in within the contents of the white box from the top and bottom respectively letter by letter.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The opening theme of the film.

Availability: This logo made its debut on Frankenstein: Legacy.
