1st Logo (April 19, 1996-August 2, 1998)
Visuals: A blue radio signal is emitted from a moving background consisting of two scrolling black surfaces textured with cyan and violet skies. The animation stretches from a wide rectangle into a square box where "BRIGHTER PICTURES", with a bright spotlight in the centre, zooms in and rests on the bottom of the sequence. Before the background sequence radially wipes into white, additional in-credit information fade in below.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A deep synthesized hum for the entire sequence, alongside a whoosh when the background sequence stretches.
Availability: Seen on early Brighter Pictures programmes such as Flava and the Arthouse documentary "The Other Francis Bacon".
2nd Logo (February 16, 1999-2002)
Visuals: On a black background, there is a light blue neon sign of a "b", together with a purple neon sign of a tubular "p" that connects with the "b". Both signs flash twice, and the text "A Brighter Pictures Production", with some credit info fading in below.
Variants:
- Sometimes, the logo is still.
- On later programmes, the text reads "BRIGHTER PICTURES" with a byline "part of ENDEMOL entertainment UK" fading in below.
- On programmes produced by its Scotland division, the text "SCOTLAND" appears below the text.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: The end theme of the show.
Availability: Seen on later episodes of Flava and Bombay Blush, most of them were hard to find and could not be seen outside of off-air recordings.
3rd Logo (2002-September 4, 2009)
Visuals: It's just the standard Endemol logo from the period, but with the text reading "brighter pictures" and a byline reading "an endemol company" below.
Variant: Sometimes, the logo is in-credit or can be seen shared with other logos.
Technique: Same as the Endemol logo.
Audio: Same as the Endemol logo.
Availability:
- Can be seen on many episodes from the UK version of Big Brother, as well as There's Something About Miriam.
- Also appears on the first season of Pointless and Divided, respectively.
