Background

Berliner Film Companie was a German film and television company that owns a animation division called Berlin Animation Film. The company became dormant in the early 2010s when was possibly forced into bankruptcy by a group of creditors by the Aramid Entertainment Film Investment Fund (now Orange Holdings LLC).



1st Logo (September 6, 2002-2006)


Visuals: On a blue background, there is a filmstrip moving with brightly shining lights outside of it. Then, a blue-tinted picture of the Brandenburg Gate zooms into the filmstrip, transforming the background into a blue box. The text "bfc" appears below the picture with "berliner film companie" stacked underneath. The logo zooms in and brightens.

Variants:

  • On Da Boom Crew and Altair in Starland, a still variant of this logo is used.
  • The German dub of Shadow of the Elves, had a variant where the logo is coloured light red and the text reads "BFC family".

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The ending theme of the program.

Availability: This logo was used only for TV shows like Mission Odyssey, Altair in Starland, Sherm and MP4orce.

2nd Logo (January 5, 2007)


Visuals: Zooming out from a square-shaped glowing sprocket hole, the camera pans up to see more glowing sprocket holes until a second set of sprocket holes are revealed. The view tilts and shines to reveal a rapidly-moving light tunnel. Various copies of the Berliner Film Companie logo can be seen until it stops. The logo, which is the same as before but now inside a filmstrip, then becomes more clear.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The sounds of a film reel with a calm clarinet theme.

Availability: So far, only seen on Happily N'Ever After.

3rd Logo (June 4, 2008-March 1, 2009)


Visuals: On a green background, there is a pink-monochrome version of the Brandenburg Gate sliding with trails. "film" written in white appears in the same way. Finally, the black words "berliner" and "companie" fade in between the white word.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The ending theme.

Availability: Only seen on Spaceballs: The Animated Series.
