Background

Abkhazfilm (Аҧсуафильм / Абхазфильм) is an Abkhazian film studio established by Vyacheslav Ablotia. They released their first feature film Напыхьараџь in 1992. In addition to producing films, Abkhazfilm also dubs foreign films into the Abkhaz language.

Logo (1992-)

Visuals: The logo opens with a shot of a silhouetted statue against a spotlight over a black background. A square toroid turns upward slowly behind the statue, with the text "АБХАЗФИЛЬМ" inscribed and arched on top of toroid, and the text "АҦСУАФИЛЬМ" below it. The logo gets lit up from the front, revealing the statue to be a standing topless man. The text gets filled in with white.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: A dramatic synthesized fanfare.

Audio Variants: On the Abkhaz dub of Frozen, the opening theme plays over it.

Availability: Seen on their films such as Напыхьараџь and Асабрада шкәакәа. It can also be seen from their dubs of foreign films such as Frozen.
