Background

HBO Enterprises is HBO's syndication arm for off-network reruns of HBO original programming in conjunction with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, formed on November 26, 2003.

Logo (2005-Early 2010s)

Visuals: Over a black background, the HBO logo fades in, while "D I S T R I B U T E D B Y" wipes in above the logo. The word "ENTERPRISES", in the Trajan Pro Bold font and with lines above and below it, wipes in below the logo while emitting light like a window. Then, the entire logo disappears by a "switch off" effect by blurring and sucking into the background.

Variant: On reruns of Sex and the City, the logo cuts to the last few parts of the credits of the episode, showing the last scene. Also, the wiping effect of "ENTERPRISES" is different.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A choir reminiscent of that in the 1996 HBO Entertainment logo (albeit louder and more ethereal) featuring a bell sound, followed by a "zap" sound.

Availability: Seen on syndie reruns of Sex and the City, The Sopranos, The Wire, Six Feet Under, and Taxicab Confessions, among others.
