Background

Turner Television was a short-lived production company owned by Turner Broadcasting and a renaming of Turner Original Productions by Jamie Kellner. It produced shows for The WB network and was formed after The WB's operations were transferred from Warner Bros. to Turner in 2001. That same year after the launch of the company, Michigan J. Frog Productions (named after The WB's former mascot), the secondary production company for The WB, was formed until it was folded into Bonanza Productions (a division of Warner Bros.
