Free Whale Pictures

1st Logo (July 19, 2017)

Visuals: On a mountainous river valley, the upper portion of a whale is seen rising from the water surface. The whale then leaps into the air with a windy humanoid spirit swirling around the marine mammal as the background fades to white. The large mammal settles on a curved, left facing upwards pose whereas the spirit lands on its head, riding it. The two transform into dark blue, painted versions of themselves with a splat for the whale's tail. "FREE WHALE" in Chinese and a calligraphic font overlaps with the whale and the company's full name in said language, as well as English in a stacked format, fades in below.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The sounds of water crashing is heard first, followed by the whale's echoed blubber, a air-y whoosh, and a two-note descending and reverbed pinging sound effect.

2nd Logo (December 30, 2023)

Visuals: A shortened version of the previous logo plays, specifically the part where the whale and humanoid spirit are in the air on a white background. Here, they become calligraphic, outlined dark blue versions of themselves while "Free Whale 自由酷鯨", in a right-aligned stacked format, is unveiled to the whale's top right. "北京自由酷鯨影业有限公司 Beijing Free Whale Pictures Co., Ltd" emerges below the aquatic mammal.
