Background

Culver Entertainment is a division of Sony Pictures Television as a direct-to-DVD label for certain shows without being aired on a network. Culver's projects were aired internationally on Sony's global networks. However, for the United States, they were on either network, cable, or syndication. They had a film division called Hemisphere-Culver Picture Partners (later Hemisphere Media Capital), which produces the film version of The Smurfs and its sequel.

Visuals: On a black background, there is a line drawing of an Art Deco-style tower. Below it is the company name with lines between them and the letter "L" stretched up to the building.

Trivia: The tower drawing is based on the Veterans Memorial Tower in Culver City, CA, which happens to be just across Culver Boulevard from the south end of the Sony Pictures lot.
