Background

Torand Productions was a television sub-division of Spelling Entertainment Inc., named after Aaron Spelling's two children: Tori and Randy. Today, it's an in-name-only sub-division of Spelling Television Inc. and an in-name-only unit of CBS Studios.

(October 4, 1990-May 7, 1992)

Nickname: "The Signature"

Logo: On a black background, we see the name "Torand" in a cursive font, with the word "PRODUCTIONS" in a bold font below, and the byline "A Unit Of Spelling Entertainment Inc." under it.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The end-title theme from any show.

Availability: Rare, so far it's seen on the first two seasons of Beverly Hills 90210 on DVD. After 1992, the Spelling Television logo was used, and the name "Torand Productions, Inc." was largely relegated to being the copyright holder of 90210 until the series' end in 2000.
