'''Logo:''' On a dark blue background, the stars of the Paramount Global logo zoom back from below the camera, albeit more similar to the 2011 [[Paramount Pictures]] logo with their bronze edges and silver textures. They also have the 2011 Paramountain (without the stars) reflected on them. As they zoom out to their positions, the half circle from the Paramount Global logo also appears and the mountain rises from below. When the stars sit on their position, they turn into the same shade of blue as the background, thus forming the Paramount symbol. A light blue trail of sparkles comes from the top-right and the Paramount script is revealed by it as it wipes down from the symbol, as well as "GLOBAL CONTENT DISTRIBUTION" in Peak Sans, wiping in from below the script. A bright light can also be seen on the top corner of the screen throughout the whole logo, going from the center to the right.

Background

Paramount Global Content Distribution is the international distribution unit of CBS Media Ventures. It was formed in 2004 by Viacom as CBS Paramount International Television, a result of a merger between two television companies, CBS Broadcast International and Paramount International Television. Since September 26, 2006, the company has been part of the CBS Television Distribution (now CBS Media Ventures) Group. In May 2009, CBS Paramount International Television was renamed CBS Studios International. In 2020, the subsidiary was renamed to ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group. On February 15, 2022, ViacomCBS announced that it was changing its name to Paramount Global.

Technique: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the reel.

Availability: Seen at the end of the sizzle reel of the company.

CBS Studios International

1st Logo (2009-2022)

Logo: Same as the CBS Television Studios logo, which also debuted in 2009 until 2020, except the eye and "CBS" are smaller, "CBS" is bolder, and the words "TELEVISION STUDIOS" are replaced by the stacked words "STUDIOS INTERNATIONAL".

Variant: The logo is available in the standard 4:3 and widescreen 16:9 formats.

Technique: Same as the CBS Television Studios logo.

Music/Sounds: The same theme as the CBS Television Studios logo.

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • Sometimes, the ending theme of the show plays instead. This happens on GREAT! TV UK airings of Touched by an Angel.
  • There's also a silent version.
  • On some international prints of 2010s episodes America's Next Top Model and the DVD release of Survivor: Samoa, there's a speedup/triple pitch version of the theme.

Availability: No longer current, but still common internationally.

  • It's seen on the DVD release of Survivor: Nicaragua and Survivor: Samoa, international adaptations of America's Next Top Model, among other series.
  • This is also seen on newer international airings of CBS-owned shows like Cheers and Everybody Loves Raymond.
  • The logo can also be seen on Netflix prints and H&I airings of season 3 episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
  • This logo has also been spotted on later episodes (mainly the "updated" prints of season 7) of Diagnosis: Murder on Me-TV, after the 1999 Viacom "ViaBot" logo, but not on older episodes with the 1990 or 1998 logos or even S2 episodes which have the 1990 and 1995 Paramount logos after the Viacom logo.
  • It also appeared at the end of an April 9, 2023 UK airing of the 2009 adaption of Angel and the Bad Man on LEGEND as well.
  • When CBS Studios International changed its name to ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group, the logo was mostly retired, but Indonesia's Next Top Model continues to use this logo until Season 3.

2nd Logo (2012)

Logo: We see the CBS Eyemark rotating and placing itself beside the following words on a black background with a blue spotlight in the middle:

CBS
STUDIOS
INTERNATIONAL

When the Eyemark settles, a flash occurs and several sparks fly out from it. The Eyemark then flies close to the screen and then to the left, transitioning to black.

Technique: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: The last few seconds of the reel, followed by a whoosh from the Eyemark.

Availability: Seen at the end of a CBS sizzle reel.

ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group

(2021-2022)

Logo: On a dark blue background, the text "VIACOMCBS" wipes in letter-by-letter, as a slightly brighter blue bar wipes in below it. Then a tri-colored line in 3 shades of blue moves from the left side of the screen to the right, making "VIACOM" a brighter blue color and "CBS" white. The bar below the "VIACOMCBS" wordmark takes the same color as the "VIACOM" text, with scrolling teal green and darker blue squares on its far left side, and "Global Distribution Group" appears on it. The logo zooms in and gets slightly closer to the screen.

Later Variant: A circle appears in the center of the screen. It then moves slightly to the right and morphs into a "C" with the rest of the letters in "VIACOMCBS" emerging from it. Then, the blue line wipes in from the middle of the screen while "Global Distribution Group" appears on it, similar to the Microsoft PowerPoint "Peek In" effect.

Technique: 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: None for the earlier variant.

Music/Sounds Variant: For the later variant, 2 drum beats are heard when the circle appears, followed by 4 synth notes when the ViacomCBS logo forms.

Availability: Rare.

  • Seen on programmes internationally distributed by the company, such as A Million Little Things.
  • It is also seen on H&I's airings of Walker, Texas Ranger.
  • Strangely, this logo also plasters the 1990 or 1995 Paramount Television logos on the Frasier complete series Blu-ray set.
