Background

Mark Burnett Productions was an entertainment company founded by reality television producer Mark Burnett (best known for Survivor, Shark Tank, The Voice, and The Celebrity Apprentice) in 2000. On April 26, 2011, Hearst acquired a 50% stake in the company and created a joint venture with Burnett to form "One Three Media".

Logo (May 31, 2000-May 21, 2014)


Visuals: On a live action fiery background, there is a flaming torch swaying back and forth to reveal the yellow words "a MARK BURNETT production" styled in a Day 24 font.

Variants:

  • A short version exists.
  • Two in-credit versions exist.
    • One is in a white box and doesn't have "a", with "production" being pluralized. The text is also in red.
    • Another, used on CNBC airings of Shark Tank, is a still version of the logo, contained in a box and with the Sony logo next to it. This appears in the split-screen credits (the regular Mark Burnett/Sony Pictures Television logo combo appears before the credits).
