Background

This was a division of Magnetic Video Corporation for sports-related releases.

1st Logo (1981)

Nickname: "MVC"

Logo: A flat, orange line zooms towards the screen and opens up to reveal the following phrase:

PRESENTED BY

MVCSPORTS

in cooperation with the

ncaa

With the "ncaa" appearing in its logo of the time frame (each letter appearing connected to the above letter and none being on the same line) and the "MVC" appearing as the same style as the Magnetic Video Corporation print logo of the time frame (an "M" and an "C" with diagonal sides and a "V" formed from the fuzzy negative space and a small triangle). The phrase then fades out.

FX/SFX: The zooming in of the line and the revelation of it being the text and the fade-out of the phrase.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the program.

Availability: Only seen in the opening credits of the direct-to-video program A Golden Decade of College Football.

Editor's Note: None.
