Background

Fall Line Studio was an internal development studio that was a part of Disney Interactive Studios, based in Salt Lake City. The company produced just three games before it was merged into Avalanche Software in 2009.

(November 7, 2007-November 25, 2008)

Logo: On a black background, we see an orange outline of a triangle, with the conjoined, stylized letters "FL" inside it. Underneath it is the text "FALL LINE STUDIO".

Variants:

  • Some games have the logo on a white background.
  • There is a special animated variant found on the Wii version of Ultimate Band. We see a light on a black background create the logo, and the company name is wiped in underneath before the light disappears and it transforms into its normal orange color.

Technique: The logo drawing in and the letters appearing.

Music/Sounds: None. On the animated variant, we hear whooshes and some futuristic beeping, then a twinkly synth sounder.

Availability: Seen on Ultimate Band, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, and Hannah Montana: Music Jam, all for the Nintendo DS.

Legacy: A pretty well-designed logo, especially the animated version, which was only used once.
