Note: Not to be confused with the Finnish and the Colombian company with the same name.

Background

Magnum Video was one of the largest labels in India, who later went into film production.

1st Logo (1989-1992)

Visuals: On a moving starfield background, a blue asteroid flies in and travels to the center, causing it to explode and reveal a bunch of golden letters. The letters fly around until they form the word "MAGNUM", and zooms in for a short period of time once the formation is complete. The word "PRESENTATION" soon stretches in below the "MAGNUM" afterwards.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A portion of "Tong Poo" by Yellow Magic Orchestra.

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]

2nd Logo (1992-1993)

Visuals: The first element shown is a symmetrical rainbow pattern background where we see a bunch of particles coming towards the camera and travelling towards all directions. After a few seconds, A giant letter "M" with the text "VIDEO" in a thin font beneath its blue shadows zooms outwards from the viewer for a short period of time against a moving yellow-black gradient background and stays on-screen for a period of time. It then zooms away from us, as the same text described above but red and striped with "VIDEO" beneath the text, along with "Presents" in white appears and on-screen for a while.

Technique: Scanimation.

Audio: Same as the 1st logo.

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]
