Vina Distributor
1st Logo (2000-2004)
Visuals: Over a blue-tinted view of a laser spinning on a DVD, with binary text flowing next to it, there is a rainbow-colored DVD flip in from the right, "VINA" drop down and turn from the top, and "DISTRIBUTOR" slide in from the right. A streak comes between "VINA" and "DISTRIBUTOR," forming a red line, and then turning towards the bottom left side of the screen. The DVD shines, and the screen fades to black.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A stock-sounding military fanfare, with a faint choir heard over the ending.
Availability: Seen on public domain DVDs from the company, such as My Favorite Brunette, Agency, and Hitchcock's original version of The Man Who Knew Too Much (whose cover shows a five-star rating from "DVD & Video Guide 2004," hence the end date).
2nd Logo (2000)
Visuals: On a white background, the finished Vina Distributor logo fades and zooms in. Bubbles jump in from the left, bringing the blue letters of "Presents" with it. Another bubble drops down on "Presents", which shines.
Technique: 2D digital animation with visual effects.
Audio: A comedy-like jazz tune with water-drops going into rhythm with the music.
Availability: Has appeared the aforementioned DVD of Agency and a double feature of Fist of Fear, Touch of Death and L.A.P.D.: To Protect and Serve. There is a DVD of the 1950 public domain thriller D.O.A. in which this is preceded by the previous logo.
