Background
Raedon Home Video was a home entertainment company known for making some of the more infamous and somewhat critically awkward direct-to-video films made between 1987 and 1990. This company was based in Southern California (Northridge, then Chatsworth).
Logo (1985-1992)
Visuals:
- 1985-1989: On a white background, the Raedon logo, consisting of two layers of text with "rae" on the top and "don" on the bottom in a tubular font, as seen. The "R" and the "D" appear to be outlines. Between the "AE" and the "ON" of "RAEDON" is the phrase "ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, INC." with a line under it. Next to the "ON" is the phrase, in smaller text, "FORMERLY HOME MOVIE MOGUL, INC".
- 1989-1992: Same as before, but the background is now blue, the logo is now white, and the text now reads "HOME VIDEO". It then either cuts to the text "PRESENTS" on the same background, or fades out to have "PRESENTS" type in letter-by-letter.
Technique: A still computer graphic.
Audio: A synthesized-tribal-like sounder from 1985-1989, otherwise none.
Availability:
- It resurfaced on a UK Amazon Prime print of Living The Blues.
- Many of the company's releases originally distributed by them moved to other distributors, making it difficult to find the logo nowadays.
