1st Logo (September 21, 1974-1977(?))

Visuals: During the intro segment, the screen zooms out a bit to reveal the Big Blue Marble logo, slightly tilted. Below is the rounded text "Presented as a public service by the" with a white circle containing a black ITT logo in it with the text "family of 438,000 employees and their children all over the world" next to and below it.

Technique: Camera controlled/cel animation.

Audio: The opening theme of the show.

Availability: Can be seen on the first 78 episodes of Big Blue Marble.

2nd Logo (1977(?)-January 1, 1983)

Visuals: On a space background, white text "Presented as a public service by" types in above. Then, the word "ITT", in a serif font, zooms out and places itself in the center of the screen. Finally, "employees and their children all over the world" appears below. After a few seconds, the entire logo would fade out, either entirely to black or segueing into the opening title sequence.

Variant: A presumed later variant has this logo being slightly zoomed in, the ITT logo in a thinner font, and having a modified animation.

Technique: Camera controlled/cel animation.

Audio: A music box playing the first notes of Big Blue Marble, or the ending theme of the show.

Availability: Only seen on later episodes of Big Blue Marble. The logo functioned both as an opening funding tag at the start of the episode, and as a closing funding tag after the credits. Newer prints have it plastered by the Golden Tiger Pictures and CFI, Inc. logos.

Legacy: For a while, this logo was only available in partial form until its full discovery on March 17, 2024 by user Jadsi, making it one of the fastest logo finds ever.
