A Dan Harmon/Russo Brothers

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Background

This was the production company of Dan Harmon and brothers Anthony and Joe Russo.

After the third season of Community, Harmon was fired from the series (only to be rehired for the fifth season, now producing under his own company, Harmonious Claptrap) and the brothers left at the same time. The brothers would later found a new production company, AGBO.

Visuals: There is a decorated arts-and-crafts sheet (mainly Velcro or construction paper) laying on a hardwood floor (which also varies by variant, though to a far less extent than the card itself). The sheet reads "A Dan Harmon/Russo Brothers" (either in all caps, capitalized or lowercase), followed by a phrase below. Below are all of the cards and their phrases:

  • Tantrum: The card is an orange Velcro sheet with a green fish, a bee, a yellow spider and an orange mouse (top left and right, and bottom left and right, respectively). "A", "DAN" and "HARMON" are respectively purple, blue and yellow, while "RUSSO BROTHERS" is and , respectively. Underneath is a tilted yellow label with a "TANTRUM" surrounded by a blue border.
  • Native American History Exhibit: The card is a light green sheet of construction paper with teal paint dots. The name is covered in brown glitter, with the inside of "A", as well as the slash, filled with google eyes. Below is "native american history exhibit" in indigo, blue, purple and yellow, respectively. A different hardwood floor is shown, angled to the right.
  • Blood Pact: The card is yellow construction paper with "A DAN HARMON" in red paint (intended to represent blood), "RUSSO BROTHERS" is in black stencil and "BLOOD PACT" is spelled in red and green; all words are in the same font and there is a line of googly eyes separating both sets of texts. The floor used is the same as the previous card.
  • Parade of Tears: The card is also yellow construction paper, but there are now polka dots of different colors and sizes along with six orange triangles at the bottom. The name is now in the same stenciled text as before with a red feather separating the two. Underneath is a pile of star confetti and multiple feathers in blue, orange, green and red, on top of which is a white label that says "PARADE OF TEARS" (also stenciled). The floor from the "Tantrum" card is used here.
  • Opus: The card is pink construction paper with green dots on the floor from the first and fourth cards. A google eye serves as the "o" in each name, which are placed on the top left and bottom right respectively, separated by double slashes. The bold green phrase "OPUS" is positioned off-center to the left.
  • Spectacle: The card is a sheet of white construction paper on the floor from the first, fourth and fifth cards. There are several multicolored pairs of google eyes surrounding the name (hence the phrase), spelled in purple, green, orange and red, and a green feather serves as the slash. Below is a green paper strip that says "Spectacle".
  • Prophecy: The card is light lavender construction paper on the floor of the first, fourth, fifth and sixth cards. There are multiple purple, yellow and green jewels above and below the name, which are orange, dark blue and purple, respectively, with an orange slash. Below is a dark blue "Prophecy" in a dark green strip similar to the previous card.
  • Fiasco: The card is light green construction paper exactly like the second card, with which it shares the floor. The names, which are again multicolored, have various vertical lines above and below them like they're shining. "FIASCO" in dark orange, blue and orange jumbled letters, is shown below.
  • Catástrofe: Blue, yellow and baby blue sheets are stacked on top another, the second one having jagged edges and tilted slightly along with the top sheet, which has a pair of creatures above and below either side "looking" at us. The names are in a fully straight line and the same stencil typeface as the second and third cards. Below is a large yellow strip with "Catástrofe" written on it. This card also has a different hardwood floor not shared with the other ones.
  • Pants Soiler: The card is a blue construction paper sheet on the floor of the first, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh cards. The names (in multicolored letters) have filled "o"s with a pair of google eyes on each. Below is "PANTS SOILER" in black, next to a large pink dot with sad google eyes looking at the text.
  • Diorama: The card is dark brown construction paper on the floor of the second and eighth cards. The name is in jumbled letters in multiple colors, separated by a diagonal red line. Below are light brown jumbled blocks that spell "DIORAMA" (the first three blocks smaller than the rest).
  • Demonstration: The card is a sheet of paper colored red, black and white inside black letterboxing on the floor of the second, eighth and ninth cards. The names (respectively in a line and stacked) are yet again in the same stencil typeface, only now with black and white lettering. The slash is a black-handled white javelin with its tip above a red-bordered white rectangle with "DEMONSTRATION" inside. White and red paper clippings (representing shards) surround the rectangle.
  • Triumph: The card is a sheet of construction paper split into blue and grayish blue, on the floor of the first, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth cards. Sitting at the bottom left of the blue side is a moon, and stars run from the side to the top edges. Vice versa with the sun and clouds for the other half. A wavy green line separates the two sides. Below is a red orange-layered strip with "triumph" in the same color as the daytime side. The typeface of the texts is similar to the eighth card.
  • Bridal Shower: The card is a white sheet of paper on the floor of the twelfth card, with numerous floral and star stickers around the walls. The name is once again in multicolored letters, and below it is " Bridal Shower" inside a pair of purple-bordered pink rectangles that are fused and stacked out of position.
