Logo (October 31, 1996-December 29, 2000)

Visuals: On a black background is a white hand drawn object consisting of a "G" rotated 90 degrees clockwise and an oval with a large dot inside and antennas hanging downwards. The object shakes behind "ROSETTA PICTURES" before disappearing a few seconds in the sequence, leaving just the text.

Variant: Sometimes, this logo shares the screen with other logos (including the 1988 and 1997 BBC logos).

Technique: 2D computer animation, which includes motion blur effects.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme or none.

Availability: It appeared on The Mind Traveller, the Horizon documentary "The Man Who Lost His Body", I Sold My Cadillac To Diana Dors: The Edmundo Ros Story, and Alfred Brendel Man and Mask, the latter of which has this logo intact on Alexander Street.
