Background

This is Dan Fogelman's vanity card. It is named after the street that Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal and an unknown person lived in West L.A. off of Bundy.

Logo (January 4, 2015-)

Visuals: On a lightly cloudy sky, there is a slightly tilted, close-up pic of a dark blue street sign attached to a sign pole (akin to one seen on a street corner in Los Angeles) with the words "Rhode Island" in white fully across the street sign. "Productions" is written in a smaller font just below it and the abbreviated word "Av" is located on the lower right corner.

Variant: An early version exists where it shows the photograph of the real Rhode Island Avenue sign (in which "Productions" was replaced by "1200 W" at the bottom) in Los Angeles, CA. This was only seen on the pilot episode of Galavant.

Technique: A live-action photograph.

Audio: Two men (Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal) saying, "Gabby, no!" simultaneously in a chastising tone. A loud splash is heard following those words. Sometimes it's silent or one of the men says the line for the short version.

Audio Trivia: Aside from the company name's origins, Fogelman had a swimming pool filled with green algae at his rented house, in which a dog named Gabby came and went as she pleased.

Availability: Seen on Galavant, Grandfathered, This is Us, Pitch and Only Murders in the Building.
