1st Logo (September 19-November 16, 1996)

Visuals: Against a dimly lit purple wall background, there is a small and slanted yellow TV set containing static and "AS SEEN ON TV" in a stacked format and white color. "Mitchell/Van Sickle Productions", in said format alongside a 3D effect, is below the TV and shines from left to right.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None.

Availability: The logo is seen on season 1 of The Pretender until "A Virus Among Us".

1st Logo (December 14, 1996-May 13, 2000)

Visuals: Against a radial blue-violet-red-yellow gradient background, the structure of the previous logo is retained but with a different TV set. It is colored turquoise and contains a red screen that reads "AS SEEN ON TV" in white, a stacked format, and black shadow facing upwards.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None or the closing theme of the show.

Availability: The logo is seen on the remaining episodes of The Pretender beginning with the episode "Not Even a Mouse".
