Background

Jay Bernstein Productions was the vanity card of indie producer Jay Bernstein, known for The New Mike Hammer and Houston Knights.

Logo (April 9, 1983-December 6, 1994)

Visuals: There is a shot of what appears to be a living room set, with spotlights in front and a director's chair marked with "Jay Bernstein" in cursive. A man (Bernstein himself) walks by, picks up a cane, and proceeds to walk off. The text "A JAY BERNSTEIN PRODUCTION", with "In Association With" underneath, is superimposed against the image.

Variant: On Houston Knights and The Diamond Trap, the setting is changed to that of a city, and there are file cabinets to the right. Also, as Jay walks off, he puts on a black cowboy hat.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on The New Mike Hammer, Houston Knights, and The Diamond Trap.
