Background

Endemol USA was the American production branch of Dutch-International entertainment company Endemol founded in 2000. It mainly produced the US versions of Endemol's programming, but also specialized in creating original IPs, such as Fear Factor, Deal or No Deal and Wipeout. In 2015, as part of the merger between Endemol and Shine Group the previous year, Endemol USA was merged with Shine America to form Endemol Shine North America.

Logo (November 27, 2001-July 16, 2012)

Visuals: Same as the secondary Endemol "eye" logo from 2001, but it's shortened and "usa" fades in afterwards, either centered underneath the company name or shifted to the bottom right of the disc.

Variants:

  • Starting in 2005, the animation is enhanced and plays out in full and sped up on the center left of the screen, as "usa" fades in to the right of it afterwards.
    • A version of this with the normal speed exists.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A truncated version of the original Endemol logo's audio. The full 2005 version uses the full audio.

Audio Variants:

  • On some shows, the ending theme is heard, or it is silent.
  • ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox airings used a generic theme.

Availability:

  • Seen on Fear Factor, Deal or No Deal and 1 vs. 100 on NBC and in syndication, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Wipeout on ABC, and Big Brother on CBS, among other shows.
    • The full 2005 version is seen on DVD releases, and Endemol-licensed games such as Deal or No Deal for PC and non-Wii versions of the Wipeout games.
