Logo (December 30, 1984-April 5, 1987)

Visuals: Against a gold background, a cartoon fox wearing a hunting cap and smoking a cigar, the smoke of which is rising continuously (the cigar butt is also glowing), is seen in a light blue circle on the left side of the screen. The names "CARDEA", "SCHENCK", "BASKIN", and "SHULMAN" in gold are placed on the right side and stacked on top of each other, each succeeding name moved one space over to the left. They are bracketed on the top and bottom by two thick gold lines and two thin gold lines; the thin lines and outside and the thick ones inside. "in association with" in lowercase is below. This is followed by the 1982 CPT logo with the Coke byline.

Variant: On Still Crazy Like a Fox, the background is brown instead of gold, the text says "A SCHENCK/CARDEA PRODUCTION", and the circle with the fox is placed below it (but his cigar's butt doesn't glow and no smoke rises from it), with the text "in association with" below that.

Technique: Presumably practical effects.

Audio: The last bars of the closing theme of Crazy Like a Fox.

Availability: It was seen on the CBS detective series Crazy Like a Fox, and on the 1987 reunion film Still Crazy Like A Fox.
