Visuals: The logo starts with an extreme close-up shot of a saw beneath a BattleBot. The saw starts up and spins rapidly, and the scene cuts to another angle where it starts to approach a metal beam. Just as the saw appears to collide with the beam, the screen glitches and cuts to a black screen with the BattleBots logo. The smaller text "PRODUCTIONS" is situated below its right corner.

Variants:

• On the Game Boy Advance game BattleBots: Beyond the BattleBox, the logo graphic is placed over a still shot of the opening frame.
• On BattleBots Collegiate Championship, the logo is in its original 4:3 aspect ratio, but zooms in (to fill the 16:9 frame), then back out to its original position.
• Starting in 2015 with the ABC revival, the current BattleBots logo is now used.

Technique: Live action and computer effects.

Audio: The BattleBot whirring, followed by a loud bang.
