Background

Bard Entertainments is a production company led by Margaret Matheson which produces work for cinema, television, galleries and home entertainment. The company is based in London and the North of Scotland.

Logo (January 7–November 9, 1998)

Visuals: On a space background, a white, spinning "b" flies out of a cloudy, rotating black hole-like object with a crooked, curved white ring. A square box crops the sequence and places it within a white background while the letter enlargens. Afterwards, "bard", with a shadow facing the lower left, pops in letter by letter underneath the logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A soothing ambient note alongside light shimmering. Afterwards, a dramatic drum hit and four more pounds are played.
