Background

Authentic Entertainment was founded in 2000 by Lauren Lexton and Tom Rogan, who previously worked together as freelance reality production staffers. The company's television series cover a wide range of subjects, with such shows as Ace of Cakes, Weird Travels, Toddlers & Tiaras, All on the Line, Surprise Homecoming, Flipping Out, The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Auction Kings, Off Limits, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Cheer Perfection and Is Your Dog a Genius?, airing on multiple networks. In 2008, Endemol USA acquired a majority stake in Authentic Entertainment.

Bylines:

  • 2012-2016: "AN ENDEMOL COMPANY"
  • 2016-2020?: "part of EndemolShineGroup"

Variant: The 2016 byline version has the Authentic logo and the byline modelled in 3D.
