1st Logo (October 7, 2013-Mid 2010's)

Visuals: On a royal blue surface with a light shimmering on the top, white and red stripes and bars draw in to form the Union Jack while the camera passes by and encounters the same objects forming the stripes in the United States flag. All but one of the red stripes leave the screen, leaving the background dimly white with a red bar in the center. Said bar shortens and becomes slightly concaved where "tv" in white fades in letter by letter. Next to the box, "ACORN" is drawn in by red and blue lines before becoming black.

Variant: There exists a fullscreen version.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A deep note, digital pong soundtrack. The second half features notes at a lower pitch as there continues to be whooshes from the moving stripes.

Availability: The logo appears on early Acorn prints of international shows that premiered in the United States such as season 6 of Doctor Finlay.

2nd Logo (September 30, 2016?-January 9, 2017?)

Visuals: On a black background, the "TV" box from before slides to the right at a faster pace than "ACORN". Before the two elements stop moving, an underline and "ORIGINAL" below it fade in.

Technique: Flash animation.

Audio: The same soundtrack as before.

Availability: So far, this logo has appeared on The Level.

3rd Logo (November 24, 2016?-2019?)

Visuals: Multiple cubic tiles featuring clips of various British and Australian dramas on the top tile rotate in on a white surface lit on the top of the screen. Multiple shots of these rotating cubes are shown as the camera pans over them, the last few of which feature some in a solid red color. In the final shot, the screen zooms out while all the cubic tiles rotate to reveal the "tv" box from before and "ACORN" next to it, both of which having a shadow facing downwards. Before the screen finishes zooming out, the service's website URL wipes in from left to right below the logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A fast tempo, grand piano piece that becomes softer near the end of the logo sequence.

Availability: This logo can be seen on airings of A Place to Call Home, The Heart Guy, The Brokenwood Mysteries on PBS affiliates during this period, which include KQED,

4th Logo (September 16, 2019-March 18, 2024)

"TV" version

"Original" variant

Still "TV" variant

Visuals: On a dark blue background, moving red and dark red lines are drawing in the white text "ACORN". The succeeding letters slide out of the preceding ones to the right while the lines are drawing them in. The last element to appear is a short ribbon symbol with a slightly bent end on the left containing "TV" in white.

Variants:

  • There is a version where "TV" is replaced with "ORIGINAL".
  • An alternate, animated variant featuring this logo has it fading in on a black background.
  • The logo may be shown within the end credits.

Technique: Flash animation.

Audio: A redone version of the 1st logo's soundtrack, removing the bass notes and solely keeping the ones at a higher pitch. The second half is replaced with two reverbed, ascending notes.

Audio Variant: On the still animation variant, a lower pitched version of the 1st logo's jingle is used.

Availability: The "TV" variant appears on Aftertaste. The "Original" variant can be seen on The Sounds. The variant where the logo simply fades in appears on Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears.

5th Logo (March 25, 2024-)

Visuals: A tilted black "o" zooms out on a white background. When it stops zooming out the first time, it backs away from the screen again and slightly pops out. At that point, "Acorn" emerges. Then, the "o" tilts to the left as the text quickly pushes to the left to make room for "tv". This brief sequence changes the background color to dark cyan.

Technique: Flash animation.

Audio: A quick and dramatic, five note cello stinger.

Availability: The logo made its debut on the Acorn TV exclusive releases of The Man Who Died and episode 6 of Murdoch Mysteries season 17.
