Background
Miramax/Dimension Home Entertainment was a sub-label of Buena Vista Home Entertainment formed in 1997 that released select Dimension Films titles on home video. It was retired after the Dimension name was taken by Harvey and Bob Weinstein in 2005.
(1997-2005)
Logo: On a black background, we see the Miramax print logo without "FILMS", and then a slash next to it and the still Dimension logo next to the slash. Underneath are the words "HOME ENTERTAINMENT", separated by 2 lines.
Technique: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Very rare. This is seen on a few Miramax-branded Dimension Films DVD and VHS releases, but most just carry either the Dimension or Miramax Home Entertainment logos.
- Can be seen on Hellraiser III, the widescreen edition VHS of The Crow, the aforementioned film's sequel The Crow: City of Angels, and the DVD of Legend of the Swordsman (aka Swordsman II: Asia The Invincible).
- Also seen on some international releases, such as the PAL DVD release of Spy Kids 3D: Game Over, the Starsky and Hutch movie and the 2005 UK DVD of Sin City.
