Five Video

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Logo (Mid-Late 1980s)

Visuals: Set on a gold background is a chroma-keyed, different countdown sequence as shown on a film leader tinted in light yellow. The countdown stops at the 6th sequence, where five rows of text "FIVE" (the second of the five remaining texts is colored black) slide in individually onto the left-most and settle. This brings up the script "Video" to flip in and settle in front of the remaining image of the countdown. Moments later, said script flips out upwards as the countdown image fades out for the white warning text to scroll in.

Technique: Analog computer animation.

Audio: The additional beeps of the countdown and a sample of "We Love You" by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.

Availability: Spotted on releases of Les Patterson Saves the World and Missione finale.
