Background

This is the vanity card of Paws, Inc. and Lee Mendelson Productions, used during their joint venture from 1982 to 1994.

Logo (2018)

Visuals: Over a white background, there is a blue box with a picture of Garfield holding a filmstrip, with the text "MENDELSON/PAWS" above and "PRODUCTIONS" below. On the bottom-right corner is a copyright notice for Paws.

Variant: On Facebook Garfield Quickies, the logo is on a black background and fades.

Technique: A still graphic made with dgital ink-and-paint.

Audio: None, the closing theme of the show, or the sparkling sound from the following Film Roman logo.

Availability: Seen only on 9 Story Media Group's infamous Garfield and Friends remaster, which can found on PlutoTV's Garfield and Friends channel.

Legacy: This logo has gained infamy for its usage on and association with the Garfield and Friends remaster (known for re-animating the intro in Flash, cropping the title cards to 4:3 with a border filling the rest of the screen and cropping the episodes to fit a 16:9 picture).
