Background

Hulu is an American subscription streaming service majority-owned by The Walt Disney Company, with Comcast's NBCUniversal holding a minority stake. Launched on October 29, 2007, it offers a library of films and television series from networks such as ABC, NBC, or FX Networks, as well as Hulu original programming.

1st Logo (2011?- )

Logo: In the credits of a show or film, we see the Hulu logo in white, with an ® registered trademark symbol at the top right of the logo. Below the logo is the text "Distributed by Hulu, LLC" in whatever font the credits use.

Variants:

  • A version exists where the logo is not in-credit and is much bigger.
  • A red variant exists.
  • Sometimes, there is a full stop at the end of the distribution text.
  • Another version exists where the text says "Distributed in the United States by Hulu, LLC".

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The end theme of the show. In some cases, it's silent.

Availability: Common. Seen at the end of many Hulu originals, though not all of them use this logo.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo (2017)

Logo: On a black screen, a multi-coloured line is drawn. Then the line opens, revealing the Hulu logo and a purple background for a split second before fading to a blue background.

FX/SFX: Everything.

Music/Sounds: A calm relaxing harp and a whoosh when the line opens.

Availability: Rare. Only seen after Hulu commercials

Editor’s Note: This is a very boring logo.
