Background

Chilevisión is a private free-to-air Chilean TV channel, and one of the main 4 in the country. Its current incarnation was formed by Grupo Cisneros in 1993, who Red de Televisión Universidad de Chile was sold to. By 2000, the channel was owned by Claxson Multimedia Group, and finally by 2010, after a long process, it was sold to Turner Broadcasting. On 5 April 2021, it was announced that ViacomCBS (now Paramount Global) had reached an agreement to acquire Chilevisión from WarnerMedia Latin America. The sale was granted approval on July 5, 2021, and completed on October 1, 2021.

Visuals: Over a time-lapse mountain backdrop with water and a moving reflection of La Moneda in Santiago below, a golden shape flies in from the left, then zooms forward, tilts and eases back to reveal it's an incomplete "CHV" wordmark. Two lasers shoot in and complete the "H", while "CHILEVISION" and "RED DE TELEVISION UNIVERSIDAD DE CHILE" appear below. The wordmark shines constantly afterwards.

5th ID (2002)

Visuals: There is a person (occasionally more) standing in a city and holding a black cardboard sign with a random message. A circle is drawn around the head of the person/people and fades out, followed by a second circle around the sign and a third one on the bottom-right corner of the screen. The third circle is filled in with a random color, and the Chilevision logo's sphere (now solid and blue) rises up from the bottom of the screen and settles inside the circle, with the letters "CHV" sliding in from behind it. Finally, the name "chilevisión" appears below, followed by the words "tu canal" ("your channel"). 20 versions are known to exist.

Variants: There is a secondary version used between, after or before programs: On an animated orange or blue background is the sphere zooming out and the logo forming in the same ways as the main.

Technique: Live-action or CGI.
