Background
Venom Games was initially formed in January 2003 from the remnants of Rage Software's Newcastle studio after its parent company went into administration. Their first game released in September 2004, Rocky Legends, was a successor to the team's previous adaptation of the popular film franchise. That same month, Take-Two Interactive Software purchased the studio, but after the release of their final game in June 2008, Don King Presents: Prizefighter, Take-Two shuttered the studio a month later, intending to wind down its operations in Western Europe to focus on Eastern Europe and Asia.
1st Logo (September 28, 2004)
Visuals: There is the text "venom games" in a grungy serif font surrounded by red thin nerves. The logo mildly shutters up and down.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: None.
Availability: Seen only on Rocky Legends.
2nd Logo (July 11, 2006)
Visuals: Unknown
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: Electric guitar notes, accompanied by sounds of pulsing and flashing.
Availability: Seen on the Xbox 360 version of Prey (2006).
3rd Logo (June 10, 2008)
Visuals: The logo, retaining the same design from the previous logo, simply zooms in, remains for a couple of seconds, and abruptly zooms out.
Technique: Zooming effects.
Audio: The sounds of boxing bells, timed with the animation.
Availability: Appears on Don King Presents: Prizefighter.
