'''Luxoflux''' was a Santa Monica, California-based game studio founded by Adrian Stephens and Peter Morawiec in January 1997. While the studio's name was first intended to be "Alpha Channel", the name was changed to '''Luxoflux''' due to the name already being in use. After collaborating on several titles since their inception, Luxoflux would be bought by [[Activision]] in October 2002, and later shut down in 2010 due to layoffs at Activision Blizzard. Many Luxoflux employees would migrate to [[Treyarch]], another Santa Monica studio owned by Activision, after the closure.

Background

Luxoflux was a Santa Monica, California-based game studio founded by Adrian Stephens and Peter Morawiec in January 1997. While the studio's name was first intended to be "Alpha Channel", the name was changed to "Luxoflux" due to the name already being in use. After collaborating on several titles since their inception, Luxoflux would be bought by Activision in October 2002, and later shut down in 2010 due to layoffs at Activision Blizzard. Many Luxoflux employees would migrate to Treyarch, another Santa Monica studio owned by Activision, after the closure.

1st Logo (June 1, 1998-December 15, 2000)

Captions: Below the logo is a caption in an italic green or white font, which changes every time you boot up one of the three games (similar to the opening of Futurama).
